Joe read the assignment (copy a 5 word sentence) and wrote the following sentence independently.  This is such a big accomplishment for him that he was invited to go to the principal and show her his work.

Dedication of a new museum on the MSU campus

This morning Emma and I went to the dedication of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum on the MSU campus.  We heard remarks from the MI governor, a MI senator, the president of MSU, the museum director, a MSU trustee, the donor (Eli Broad) and the architect Zahra Hadid.  The building is gorgeous!  We are so excited to walk through and see the exhibits tomorrow.
