Suggestions for Book Club

It is my turn to choose the next book for the "No Time to Read" Bookclub. My month is the August meeting, but since all of East Lansing and MSU will be reading "Lay That Trumpet in our Hands" for One Book One Community I will pick for September. I am looking for suggestions. Has anyone read anything really great to discuss this summer? The list of what we have read in the the post below.

I think that would make a good book club read/discussion. I couldn't put this book down.

I'll jump in: The two books I am recommending to anyone and everyone these days are "The Last of Her Kind" by Sigrid Nunez and "Disorder Peculiar to the Country" by Ken Kalfus. Keep us posted on your decision!
